Whoever made this probably did not pay too much attention to detail, excluding Korea from the social media part. Can’t believe you guys excluded the winner of season 3 world.

Hey, Lukasz
I guess now Twurdy team is aware of it and probably they will get to it :)

To be honest the flags were quite random… as they were for decorational purposes. :) We inserted the South Korean flag now with a few other major LoL playing countries :) Thanks for commenting.

Why there no Korea in infographic?

Reply

There’s now! ;)

Just wondering, where did you get your stats from?

Reply

Lots of sources, the important ones are listed in the bottom left corner of the IG.

Wow, amazing!

Brazillian is NOT a language. The language spoken in Brazil is Portuguese.

Reply

Thank you for writing. Actually the language spoken in Brazil is brasileiro or Brazilian Portuguese. Still, we haven’t mentioned “Brazilian” anywhere.

The numbers on this graph don’t even correspond with themselves. For instance : 10 games started every 1 second, which amounts to 864,000 games per day, which amounts to a maximum of 8,640,000 unique players a day (obviously it’s much less). Yet you’re quoting a number of 32,500,000 active players.

Pretty infograph, garbage numbers.

“Active players” doesn’t equal “daily players”, but I admire your math skills. ;)

Reply

It literally says “daily active players”, but I admire your knowledge of your own infograph. ;)

Reply

You’re right, the “daily” shouldn’t be there, it wasn’t when we sent it to the designer. And it won’t be for long! ;) Thanks

i just came by to tell you how much pounding this infographic is getting from Korean community on the fact that you have missed the Korean flag at the start.(quick editing was good though)
It is spreading into a topic of LOL’s interest and consideration for Korea being lower than Japan and China and the fact that while Korean is contributing so much to the game, there are not much ‘Korea feature’ in the game comparatively to the China and Japan features.

But thanks for the good infographic :)

It was an unfortunate mistake, the designer placed flags there for decoration purposes nothing else. He didn’t even know which countries play LoL or have servers, etc. Then when we got word that it was misinterpreted by the community we took action. I hope we didn’t start a war of some kind because of a stupid mistake ;)

Hey guys, I’m currently writing about League of Legends in one of my college papers. I plan to use this as a source, any help would be appreciated. I’m looking for information on this infographic, basically who wrote it if any one knows, what ever can help me cite it. Also, I’ll appreciate any other information you guys have out there, i’m discussing League as a sport based on the views of philosophy. Thanks in advance!
